Learning to Dance with Life


 Expect that all things in life are fleeting.
(This is what the Buddha refers to as "life is Dukka".
To get the most fulfillment in life is to
Enjoy the enjoyable moments, knowing that they too are only passing through.
Breathe through difficult emotions,  knowing that they too are only passing through.

Do not try to avoid pain.
Do not avoid joy in order to avoid pain.
Life is both.
This is a Dance.

Do not resist this pattern.

Do not make the mistake of putting pain where happiness is.
Do not make the mistake of trying to force happiness where there is pain.

Do not fear pain or disappointment.
(They are only visiting.)
Joy will always come to follow.
Appreciate it while it is here.
(Joy is also only visiting.)

Learn these dance steps
And moving through life will become easier.
